Zodiac signs may have more impact on people’s health than anyone could have believed. 

Skeptical? I thought so. But let me explain.

It is not a coincidence that character traits match zodiac signs, quite the contrary, in fact.

Capricorn: December 23 – January 20

Being an earth sign, it makes sense that Capricorns love farm-to-table meals. Lots of yummy herbs and fresh salads. For exercise, they are great at sticking to routines, taking time to prepare what they need to do to reach their goals.

Aquarius: January 21 – February 19

Being the life and soul of the party, people under the Aquarius sign love simple finger foods, which can make them susceptible to falling into junk food habits like chips and fast food. But luckily, with exercise, they are in the know. They like to try new things and be stimulated intellectually, not follow the crowd. 

Pisces: February 20 – March 20

Being the fish and water sign, it is no surprise to learn that seafood is favored. Lighter meals, in general, are preferred, steering clear of spice where possible. And for exercise, gentle meditations are their go-to choice. Yoga is great for Pisces as it is stimulating for them.

Aries: March 21 – April 20

Hot and spicy food will be on the menu for Aries, suitably so for the fire symbol. Peppery and spicy foods, often exotic, work best. As for exercise, if it is competitive, count Aries in. They love fierce competition, so team sports are a great option.

Taurus: April 21 – May 21

Presentation is everything for Taurus – the more beautifully plated, the better. They tend to have a great connection with food, so grab-and-go meals are not suggested. With exercise, they like the finer things in life, so a gym with a sauna and pool is usually ideal.

Gemini: May 22 – June 21

Being one of the more social signs, Geminis prefer meals around a table with family and friends. Without that social interaction, they are more likely to turn to junk food. Running is the best option for a Gemini, as they love to run with people or with headphones blaring.

Cancer: June 22 – July 22

For Cancer, there is no place like home, so they tend to choose comfort food in their familiar surroundings. A quick mac & cheese or tub of ice cream usually does the trick. With exercise, they like to work out together with friends or family due to their nurturing nature.

Leo: July 23 – August 21

Steer away from boring, bland meals if you’re a Leo. Curry and BBQ dishes work well for this fire sign. As for exercise, they love to be in the spotlight and benefit from team sports where they can stand out from the rest.

Virgo: August 22 – September 23

Another earth sign, so it is no wonder Virgos gravitate toward salads and nuts. The healthier, the better, and organic goods are a big yes! Being perfectionists, they can either stick to routines and push themselves, or they get disheartened at not seeing early results and fall into bad routines such as late-night snacking.

Libra: September 24 – October 23

Libras love to live a luxurious lifestyle, and this is reflected in their eating habits. They love tasty dishes, and presentation is everything. However, they often struggle to say no to desserts. With exercise, they won’t benefit from the latest trends, they need a good balance between work and rest, so they don’t become stressed. Ideally working out with a partner or friend.

Scorpio: October 24 – November 22

Scorpios are very complex individuals when it comes to food. They tend to like intense foods others would scoff at, like blue cheese and sardines. Intensity is also key in their workouts, so an exercise like boxing and martial arts are a big yes for Scorpios.

Sagittarius: November 23 – December 22

Known for their love for traveling, it is no surprise to learn that exotic foods are a go-to for Sagittariuses – spicier dishes bursting with flavor and that extra kick. When exercising, it needs to be fun, if it feels like a chore, they are much more likely to bail out.
