Try #1 Doctor Preferred Supplement for GLP-1 Weight Loss Benefits Risk-Free
My name is Dr. Theresa Bell. I am a board-certified endocrinologist. And I haven’t seen such a worrying trend in 30+ years of my medical practice.
There’s a massive surge in non-diabetic people using Ozempic.
But recent healthcare data analysis revealed how serious it actually is. Ozempic prescriptions for weight loss have increased by 2,082%!1
And it’s women aged 45 to 64 who lead these staggering statistics.
The problem is that the mainstream media led everyone to unrealistic expectations. Almost as if Ozempic were some kind of miracle drug.
And as if losing weight while using it came without any drawbacks.
That’s why I want to address and talk about the following three things:
Also, I will explain which one (and why) of these 5 supplements my patients and I found to work the best. So, without further ado, let’s dive in.
In short, GLP-1 is a hormone that your body produces itself. Its main function is to stimulate insulin secretion and lower blood sugar.
But GLP-1 does several more things that result in rapid weight loss:
But if our bodies naturally produce GLP-1, why don’t we experience these benefits then? And how does Ozempic change that?

The problem is that our bodies produce way too little GLP-1. It’s because we are exposed to things that significantly suppress its secretion.
Lack of sleep, high-fat food, excess weight, chronic inflammation, low fiber intake, and aging.6,7,8
Now, what Ozempic does is activate the receptors that GLP-1 binds to. As if there were much more of this hormone than there actually is.
But in addition to rapid weight loss, this causes some serious problems.

So, Ozempic basically “tricks” your body into thinking that there is more GLP-1 than it could possibly produce. And that’s a really bad thing.
Because all those benefits of GLP-1 get pushed into overdrive.
Take suppressing hunger signals in the brain, for example. Instead of reducing hunger and cravings, Ozempic can cause constant nausea and projectile vomiting.
The same applies to delayed gastric emptying.
Many Ozempic users report undigested food sitting in their stomachs for days. Or in severe cases, stomach paralysis, where your digestion basically shuts down.
But these gastrointestinal issues aren’t even the worst part.
Because Ozempic can also cause dangerous and life-threatening conditions. Such as pancreatitis, hypoglycemia, kidney failure, and even thyroid cancer.9
Now, don’t get me wrong, some people do have success with Ozempic. But I personally see more folks feeling their absolute worst while taking this drug.
This wouldn’t happen if they increased their natural GLP-1 production instead.
Below are the top 5 supplements my patients and I have found to do exactly that. Which is more than enough to experience the weight loss benefits of GLP-1.
But without any of these drawbacks or such a high price tag.
Here’s what I like about Inno Shred GLP-1. In addition to nine other ingredients with mild fat-burning effects, every serving contains 200 mg of berberine.
It’s one of the ingredients out there with evidence to increase GLP-1 levels.
In fact, berberine both boosts GLP-1 production and activates its receptors. The only issue is that berberine has very poor absorption and low bioavailability.10,11
Verdict: Contains one of the few ingredients that increases GLP-1 production, but it has low bioavailability.
The next on my list is GLP-1 Plus. What’s special about this supplement is that it has 200 mg of dihydroberberine in every serving.
Which is equivalent to 1000 mg of berberine.
Also, it has much better bioavailability compared to just a 1% absorption rate of berberine. Leading to a more consistent increase in GLP-1 production.12
Verdict: Superior compared to virtually any regular berberine supplement out there.
There’s basically only one thing that makes Sensolin GLP-1 better than the previous supplement. Because it contains 200 mg of dihydroberberine as well.
But the key difference is its affordability. GLP-1 Plus, for example, costs $99.95. Meanwhile, the price of Sensolin GLP-1 is $44.63 for a one-month supply.
Verdict: Contains the same advanced berberine form, but at a much more affordable price.
The fourth supplement on my list takes a completely different approach. It’s because Pendulum GLP-1 Probiotic provides 500 million AFU of three probiotic strains.
They produce short-chain fatty acids, particularly butyrate. Studies show that it stimulates natural GLP-1 production and is more effective than berberine.13
Verdict: Takes a completely different approach, but doesn’t fulfill its potential as well as the last supplement.
At the top of my list is Bioma. It takes the same exact approach as the previous supplement. But the difference is that Bioma realizes its full potential.
That’s because it contains more and better ingredients.
First, it has three Bifidobacterium strains (B. lactis, B. longum, and B. breve). These good bacteria produce butyrate. As we already know, it increases GLP-1 secretion. But instead of 500 million CFU, Bioma has 9 billion. Which is 18 times more than the previous supplement.
Second, it contains xylooligosaccharides (XOS). These prebiotics not only selectively feed Bifidobacterium. But they also produce short-chain fatty acids, including butyrate, on their own. That’s why studies show that XOS increases circulating levels of GLP-1.14,15,16
Third, Bioma has tributyrin. This little-known compound is actually a prodrug of butyrate. But it provides superior bioavailability compared to its regular form. Plus, tributyrin ensures prolonged butyrate release, supporting a sustained increase in GLP-1 production.17,18
And fourth, Bioma uses delayed-release capsules. This way, all these ingredients survive stomach acid and reach the gut intact. Which still is a huge issue with most supplements.19
Verdict: The most sophisticated formula for increasing natural GLP-1 production available today, plus it costs less than $1 a day.

On the final note of this review, I want to say that my patients and I have tried dozens of different supplements over the past few years. And these five are the ones that actually work.
But Bioma consistently delivers the best results.
Here’s a quick recap of why it’s my #1 choice when it comes to increasing natural GLP-1 production and getting its weight loss effects without any drawbacks:
Plus, Bioma costs less than $1 a day, which makes it one of the best deals available today for anyone who wants to lose weight without paying up to $1,029 every month.
Since this article was published on Health Insider, Bioma has gained tremendous attention and interest. Will this work for someone who has only 10-15 pounds?
I’ve been considering Ozempic ever since my best friend lost 30 pounds… but the side effects and price tag were holding me back. Just ordered Bioma to give it a try instead. Anyone else tried this? Would love to hear more experiences!
I’ve been on Ozempic and the nausea is UNBEARABLE. Lost 11 pounds but I’m miserable every day. Going to try Bioma after reading this. Seems less invasive and definitely easier on my wallet.
Ladies, I’ve been using Bioma for about 7 weeks now and it’s working! Down 16 pounds without the horrible side effects others get! Highly recommended!
