I remember it was 3 AM, and I had to get out of bed for the second time that night.
“Where are you going?” my husband asked.
“To the bathroom. Again,” I remember answering, sleepy.
Before going to bed, I couldn’t help but drink lots of water as I felt thirsty.
But those frequent night trips were starting to irritate me.
Little did I know that these were alarming signs of the diagnosis that hit me hard.
I have to admit, being diagnosed with prediabetes was scary.
As a 54-year-old mother of two lovely boys, I was freaking out about it progressing to diabetes and the possible complications that come with it.
