Try This Weight Loss “Alternative” to GLP-1 Drugs Risk-Free!
You’ve probably noticed how everyone seems to be talking about GLP-1 drugs lately. But did you know that 1 in 8 Americans have already tried them?1
And to be honest, I’m not that surprised.
Because more than half of people in the U.S. want to lose weight. And if you’re one of them, I get it. I really do.2
Maybe you want to live your life without that extra weight holding you back.
Maybe you’re tired of sideways glances and subtle judgments.
Or maybe you just don’t want every doctor visit to turn into that dreaded “weight speech.”
Any of these reasons can make it tempting to try these GLP-1 drugs. But here’s why this terrifies me.
They aren’t meant for weight loss. And those who take them off-label report severe side effects.
But I wanted to figure out how they work for weight loss.
That’s when I found another way to get very similar results without any risks.
So what were they originally created for, if not weight loss? For lowering blood sugar and A1C. Or simply put, type 2 diabetes management.
The way these drugs work?
By mimicking the GLP-1 hormone, which does three main things:
Nothing too crazy, right? But hear me out. Because the last one is the real reason these drugs cause rapid weight loss.

See, when food stays in your stomach longer, you naturally feel satisfied and full. Which is why you have less urge to snack and overeat.
And when you eat less… well, you consume fewer calories without even trying.
No hunger pangs. No crazy cravings. No willpower needed.
Just effortless weight loss while naturally feeling full.
It may sound almost too good to be true. And for most GLP-1 users, it actually is.

I hate being right about this. But as a doctor, I knew this was coming. And now? It’s even worse than I suspected.
There’s a surge of GLP-1 users reporting serious side effects.
They come to their doctors asking for help. And I see this happening day after day.
Don’t believe me? Then simply type “GLP-1 side effects” on Google. You’ll see hundreds if not thousands of horrific stories like these:
“Even at the smallest dosage of 0.25, I started randomly vomiting, non-stop diarrhea, sulfur burps, and the worst bloating ever; even if I didn’t eat. I couldn’t find a way to make it work, since the side effects wouldn’t go away. It was unbearable.”
“I took this drug for one week, and I’m not kidding when I say it was the most miserable, sickest I’ve ever felt. I can’t understand any healthy person taking it to get thin.”
“Within 4 hours of the first dose, non-stop projectile vomiting and diarrhea.”
But these are just short-term side effects.
What’s really terrifying? Potential long-term consequences. Hypoglycemia. Kidney failure. Pancreatitis. Stomach paralysis. And even cancer.4
But let’s say you’re willing to take the risk. There’s still one massive problem.
The moment you stop taking these drugs? Intense hunger quickly returns. And so does the weight.
That’s something you should consider.
Especially if you’re not willing to keep injecting yourself with diabetes drugs forever.
See, your own body actually produces GLP-1. And you know what boosts its natural secretion? Very specific probiotic strains.
But bear with me before you say it can’t be true.
Because you would be surprised how many clinical trials confirm this. And it actually makes sense since GLP-1 is produced in your gut.5,6,7,8
But here’s the key difference between probiotic strains and these drugs.
GLP-1 rises way above its healthy levels with them.
Meanwhile, probiotic strains promote its natural production. So there are no severe side effects.9
And I know what you’re probably thinking.
“I’ve tried probiotics before but never lost weight like people do on GLP-1 drugs!”
The problem is that most probiotic supplements can’t do that. So it’s not enough to take any off-the-shelf supplement.
You must get certain probiotic strains that promote GLP-1 production.
They have to pass through your digestive tract intact. And to do that in sufficient quantities.
That’s why choosing the right probiotic supplement for weight loss is so important.

Every day I have patients asking me to prescribe these drugs. And I get it. The promise of effortless weight loss can be very tempting.
But I don’t want to put anyone at risk. So I walk them through everything I just told you.
I then suggest Bioma as a safe alternative to GLP-1 drugs.
And you know what’s really impressive? Not a single patient complained that it didn’t work for them.
That’s because Bioma has everything it takes to promote GLP-1 production. Believe me. I set pretty high standards when looking for an alternative to these drugs.
First, it contains probiotic strains backed by science to boost GLP-1. Both directly and indirectly.
Second, these strains come in clinically effective quantities. Enough to promote weight loss. But not too much to cause side effects.
Third, Bioma uses delayed-release capsules. Which is crucial to deliver these strains through the digestive tract intact.
In other words, Bioma was exactly what I was looking for. Because honestly, I couldn’t find anything even remotely close out there.
But I have to warn you. There actually is one “side effect.” My patients noticed something they didn’t expect.
Along with losing 10, 20, 30, and even 40+ pounds… they report better digestion, reduced bloating, and zero gut discomfort!
Which is a stark contrast to what you’d most likely experience right after the first shot of any GLP-1 drug.

Thank you for your comment
Honestly, it’s articles like these that remind me to always do my research before jumping on the latest trend. Thank you, Dr. Bell, for explaining the side effects of these drugs!
I’ve been on GLP-1 drug for a few weeks, and I lost some weight already. But honestly, I am already considering stopping it because the side effects are no joke. Has anyone here tried Bioma yet?
Coincidence or not, I’ve been using Bioma for a while and since I started, I actually feel way less hungry. I had no idea it could target the same hormone as these drugs, but without their nasty side effects. Good to know that!
