I looked around the brunch table at my gal pals…

All like me, married with kids in their late 40’s and early 50’s…

Well, not exactly like me.

I was “that one friend”. 

The only one in the group who could never get the latest diet fad or exercise program to work for her.

I’d put on a fake smile as they went around the table talking about their trainers, crossfit camps, Peloton bike routines, keto, paleo, low carb… the works. 

I’ve done dozens of programs, diets, and workout routines… never with any real lasting results I could be proud of or made me feel like me.

I was tired of looking in the mirror and not LOVING who I saw.

Sick of feeling like I didn’t have a choice. 

My name is Mary, I’m a mother of 3 and 47 years young… and now I FEEL amazing.

But 7 months ago I felt like a completely different person.

I’d wake up in the morning feeling like I was running on empty. 

Like a lot of people… I just felt burned out from all the trying…

The day Timothy started talking about weight loss strategies that actually worked, something inside my head just “clicked.”

He talked about simple concepts like fasting (just not eating) and intermittent fasting (time-restricted feeding).

It all made perfect sense to me when he talked about using these little mental methods to gain control over the hormones in the control of my body.

I left that day with hope and excitement I hadn’t experienced in years. 

It was like someone had turned on the lights and showed me how to take back control of my weight once and for all!

When I got home, my family was excited to hear about what I learned from Tim – so we decided to give it a try together…

(And then they started to melt off the unwanted flab too!)

I can’t describe how it felt to see the scale drop for the first time in my entire life.

It was incredible… I’d never been so excited about what I saw in the mirror before!

And even better – losing that part of me actually helped me feel a whole lot more energetic and I was able to do more of what I wanted with my family.

I knew that if we could keep going on this journey, we’d enjoy our lives together as we used to. 

Guess what? We’re like a bunch of kids again!

FULL of energy and feeling more like ourselves.

It didn’t take us long before we totally embraced these mental strategies and decided to make them work for us.  

We started shortening our eating window each day from 12 hours to 8 hours.

We started weight training at home and doing other calorie-burning activities to build muscle instead of just cardio…

And we even started fasting one day a month together…

Weight loss really is that simple when you get the hang of it!

Me? At my heaviest – 175 pounds…

But now I’m 30 pounds lighter.

My journey taught me so much about my body and healthy living.
